A friend of mine sent me this photo of her girls sledding out in the snow. It looks like so much fun and it brings back fond memories of afternoons sliding down a big hill and snowball fights with the neighbor kids. However, with today’s frigid temperatures I believe I will enjoy the snow through the window as I sit here with a hot cup of tea. Fall is here and so is the football season. Even though I am not a huge football fan I can’t help but cheer on the Purdue Boilermakers since Alexis’ is going to school there and I always root for Notre Dame our local college team. It has been a busy summer of travel but now that I am home I am enjoying these cool and crisp mornings. As I breath in the fresh air my thoughts turn toward fall with images of falling leaves, bonfires, hayrides and farmer’s markets filled with pumpkins, apples and the abundance of fall vegetables.
